Day 1: Arrival, Transfer to Chelgerd town
Thanks to Isfahan international airport and Turkish airline, you can arrive Isfahan at 2:00 am with a short stop in Istanbul. Welcome and greeting to the group, then you will transfer to your hotel in Isfahan and have a rest. After breakfast, we start driving to Chelgerd city (2300 m) in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province (3-4 hours). There we will go to our guesthouse/local house, check the equipment and have a short ski tour near Koohrang ski resort next to the city. O/N at guesthouse or local house with full board (B.L.D).

Day 2: Ski tour from Sheikhali Khan to Mohamadabad village
Today after breakfast we leave Chelgerd to Sheikhali Khan village via mountain road (30-45 min). Here we start our ski tour from Sheikhali Khan village to Mohamadabad pass and skiing in fresh & untracked snow to the village. In the case of blocking Sheikhali Khan road by snow, we drive to Mohamadbad and ski touring in Mohamadabad summit. O/N at local house (B.L.D).

Day 3: Ski touring to Mohamadabad summit
After spending a good night in a local house with nice & kind people, today we start ski tour from our local house in the village to the Mohamadabad summit. It takes 4 hours to reach the main summit, there we skiing down to Niakan village in a different route. We can also ski tour some of the unnamed summit in this area and enjoying skiing in fresh snow and perfect slopes. O/N at local house (B.L.D).

Day 4: Ski touring to Niakan summit
Like the last day, today after delicious breakfast, we start our ski tour from our local house in the Niakan village in ~ 2450 m altitude. Climbing Niakan summit as well as unnamed summit surrounding the village make a memorable ski tour for us in this nice area. Afternoon we will drive to Chelgerd city. Day 5: Ski tour to Samsami summit
Today we drive to Samsami village via an asphalt road and Shah Mansouri pass. On the top of the pass, we start ski tour to Samsami summit 3800 m. Descend to Samsami village. O/N at local house (B.L.D).

Day 8: Ski tour at Khoshke La summit

Day 9: Drive back to Isfahan, Sightseeing
Today after breakfast and packing ski stuff, we start driving to Isfahan. Afternoon we will have sightseeing in this beautiful historical city. In the evening we have enough time to walking around our Hotel, and enjoy the landscape of old bridges. O/N in Hotel (breakfast and bed B.B).

Day 10: Full day Isfahan sightseeing, departure at midnight
Today we will have a full day sightseeing in Isfahan. Ali Qapo, Chehelsoton Palace, Hasht behesht Palace, Si-o-Se pol, Old Bazar, and many other historical places, are some of the sites that you can visit today in Isfahan. At the evening we will go to one the best traditional restaurant for a a farewell dinner. After dinner, the group will transfer to Isfahan Airport to fly back home via Turkish Airline to Istanbul and your country (B.D).

- This program is a wild ski tour at one of the highest mountains of Iran in remote areas, with Possibility of facing a completely different situation every day. Considering that the most important thing for Iran Exploration is the safety of Clients, and depends on weather, snow, and mountain conditions, there is chance of blocking roads by snow/avalanche, missing ski tour or climbing to main summits.
In this conditions, final decision is with your local ski tour guide and he try to change the itinerary with best operative and less risk plan. Also the sleeping places and accommodation could be change due to the conditions. - Mentioned altitudes of summits in the itinerary, are measured by our guides handy GPS and could be effected by weather and mountain conditions. So they should be considering approximately true.

No need to have any special vaccination. There is no contagious disease in Iran. But for abroad holiday its better to do your regular health care and vaccination or teeth treatment before you travel.
The currency of Iran is the Iranian Rial. Most of places does not accept Paypal or International credit cards, So you must pay in cash, or you can use Iranian Debit Card. You can charge your Travel Debit Card with local currency (You can charge this card ones (50 E, 100 E, 200 Euro or more) during your journey in Iran. We advise you to charge it until 300 euro before you visit museum, hot springs, market, shops and restaurant. With this card you can easily pay everywhere and withdraw local currency from any ATM. Iran is an Islamic Country, So If you are a woman, You must wear scarf and mantoo and also man are prohibited to wear shorts in the cities.

Useful Information About Zagros Mountain
- Zagros Mountain Range
Iran, land of different climates and four seasons. Where deserts, mountains, sea and glaciers are gathered in one boarder due to the existence of two great mountain ranges in Iran. Zagros and Alborz mountain ranges.
Zagros mountains is one of Iran’s longest mountain ranges with more than 1600 km length and 100-250 km width, from northwest to the southeast. It stretches from Turkey & Iraq boarders to Oman sea and Indian ocean.
This huge mountain range, geologically, dates back to very old periods. But it’s main structure (Marble, Granite and Shale) driven due to the pressure of Arabian plate to Eurasian plate.
Zagros mountain range, can be dividing to three distinct parts: Northern Zagros, Middle Zagros and Southern Zagros. In another division, the Zagros Mountains can be divided into two major parts: high Zagros and Zagros folded.
The highest Zagros Sub-Ranges (Massifs) include Mount Dena (4410 m), Mount Zardkouh (4221 m), Mount Oshtorankouh (4140 m), Mount Garin (4050 m) and Mount Alvand (3650 m) are in the high Zagros or Middle Zagros and all are available in Zagros Ski Touring categorize.
Also, the Zagros Mountains are the source of many water-rich rivers in the Middle East and the cause of the rise of its ancient civilization.

- Mount Zardkouh
Mount Zardkouh (Zardkooh or Zardkuh) is one of the sub-mountain-ranges in Middle Zagros (central Zagros) with too many summits over 4000 m.
The famous peaks of Zardukh are Kino, Haft Tanan, Shah Shahidan, Zarde, Dozarde, Cheri, Clonchin (highest summit 4221 m) and many others over 3000 and 4000 meters peaks that all are available for trekking & ski touring in Iran.
Mount Zardkouh (second highest mountain in the Zagros Mountain Range) is located near Koohrang city of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province that is accessible by the roads from Isfahan and Khozestan provinces.
Mount Zardkouh with its virgin summits, average of 1000 millimeter snowfall annually, and over 1200-meter different altitude of start points to the summits, is one of the best and unique destinations for Iran ski tours.
Ski touring in Zagros mountains and Zardkouh, will give you enjoyment experience of sleeping and spending overnights in local traditional houses of Bakhtiari people, their cuisine’s and nice villages.

Damavand south route Ski-tour is not a technical, but it need skill skiing at high altitude and knowledge of snows kind and condition.
